Title: Human performance implications related to the rapid response team security recommendations (2002)

Abstract: The purpose of this report is to provide feedback related to the possible human performance implications of the Rapid Response Team’s security recommendations. This feedback was requested by Al Prest of the Air Transport Association at a meeting of human factors researchers. The report was compiled after the meeting with input from the research group. The information in this report includes human performance implications that may result from each recommendation as well as suggestions for strategies that may be used to address these implications. In many cases, specific research addressing these implications is recommended.
